Leah Marie Stone, Beckville Christmas Parade, December 2004. Check out the hat. Can't tell in this picture but it has a strand of flashing lights on it. Leah and her Dad rigged up a battery pack that she tucked in her waistband. What's a little electrical shock compared to entertaining the crowd??? Headstone of Trula Pearl (Travis) Butler, b. 23 December 1899, d. 26 August 1974. Trula is the oldest child of Joseph N. Travis and Ellen Butler Travis. When Ellen died shortly after giving birth to her 16th or 17th child, the baby Irene was raised by Trula and her husband Floyd Butler. Trula would be my great-great-aunt on my father's side. Posted by Picasa
